The Trance industry has seen many greats through the years that have written tracks that will be remembered by every faithful follower of such a diverse music scene for years to come.

2008 was the birth of a partnership between two dedicated best friends in the pursuit of musical bliss. Andy & Shane have been avid followers of the Trance & Dance music scene for many years, they decided it was time to collaborate into a production and DJ partnership that would hopefully send shockwaves around the world.

After spending endless hours in the studio learning the skills necessary to take their ambitions to the next level Andy & Shane released: “Towards The Lights’’ A very uplifting track with a huge build and punchy bassline that gained some excellent feedback. Call it what you will…this gave the English & Welsh born duo the encouragement needed to push on and gain the grade needed to really make a stamp on such a tough industry to get recognition from.

Alpha Duo’s sudden rise and enthusiasm for trance is certainly putting them in a good position to break through the boundaries to push their Euphoric, uplifting sounds to the audiences that have grown to love them over the years. July 2009 saw the release of Beautiful Dream, a collaboration with good friend and superb sound engineer James Kitcher and the multi talented Angelic voice of Emma Lock. The track gained a respectable 51st place in the Beat Port & Track it down charts. Beautiful Dream was played on A State Of Trance by the world’s number 1 DJ and respected artist Armin Van Buuren and in addition was supported by the Dj’ing World’s elite.

A long list of artists from Tiesto, Aly & Fila to Armin gave the work a big thumbs up which really did push the guys in the right direction. Alpha Duo are now in double figures in terms of releases and are forever trying to get to the next stage…..consistently chasing the dream.

2011 was a good year for the pair.. working with many established vocalists and performers, such as Fisher, Julie Harrington & Emma Lock & Yana Kay to name a few. A track you definitely will remember is Atlantis-Fiji Andy & Shane completed the Official 2011 remix which has gained Worldwide acclaim from the Djing elite such as Armin Van Buuren on A State Of Trance 17th November 2011. The remix was lodged in 1st place in the Trance Top 100 Track It Down Chart for 4 weeks and 10th Overall, throughout all genres…

After recent success with the Anthem entry Alpha Duo are starting to build an army of followers….it doesn’t stop there! Remix requests from some of the scenes biggest names flooding in means a very busy year ahead for the new kids on the block.

Alpha Duo are definitely artists you need to see to really appreciate the desire, enthusiasm and of course the love they share for Trance.

Andy & Shane when playing to audiences ..really do come alive! The sets are full of bags of energy, smiles, Euphoric uplifting beats that will tantalise the most stubborn of taste buds anywhere.

Alpha Duo are Bi monthly residents at Essance Birmingham UK after the promotion team seen them raise the roof at another event.
