Allende – Desperation EP Reviewed

Label: Unearthed Subliminal

Lets fly to the darkest corners of Finland to unravel some of the fresh work from the artist Anssi Hohti aka Allende. He has been producing for a long time, but always chosen quality over quantity. So you might have heard relatively less material from him, but when he delivers, it’s definitely something to keep yours ears peeled to..! Another double-A side EP on the deep progressive imprint of Unearthed records – Subliminal. Get ready to bedazzled…!

01. Allende – Desperation (Original Mix):

Crispy beats and crafty minimalistic percs lays down the foundations for the meaty groove to take you for a wild ride ahead.! Electro-house influenced bassline just melts with the bells and the background pads. The sparkling atmosphere is further enhanced by the sweet melody gently spreading its cadence over the infectious groove…!

02. Allende – Inevitable (Original Mix):

This one kicks off in the same vein of the opener. Allende surely knows his art when it comes to constructing amazingly playful basslines, on which you can drool over and over again..! A high pitched but elated synth melody paves the way for the shimmering soundscapes to unfold, while the nifty little drumrack keeps things upbeat forever.

It’s deep, it’s harmonious. A rare combo if you ask me when it comes to deep-prog trance. But Allende has pulled it off quite astonishingly, with 2 funky tracks to ramp up the jam…!
